The Brewer small “Wide Base” Fin was originally designed by Dick for Michael Ho. Michael was riding smaller single fins, so Dick reduced the surface area of this fin knowing it would work for him and on smaller waves. The fin we used as a model, was hand foiled by Dick and was an injection molded in Lexan plastic. We sent the Lexan version to Chuck Ames and it is now available to YOU in fiberglass. Note : a typical fin thickness matches the slot in the fin box (.340”), this fin is a full foil and is .100” wider than your typical fin, therefore a natural full foil!
